Collaborative Catalyst for Church Planting

Collaborative Catalyst for Church Planting

Last week we looked at two key distinctions of Rome International Church. Two feet on which our identity stands.

1. We are Convictional leaders is biblical truth.

2. We are Community leaders in biblical living.

On these two "feet" what if we became:

  • Collaborative leaders for kingdom work done in strategic partnership between churches in Rome, Italy, Europe, and beyond?

This is already happening to some degree through local, national, and international networks. For years RIC has been a grateful recipient of the generous prayer and support of these networks. What might it look like to collaborate for kingdom-expansion in Rome and beyond in ways that would require us to generously give our time, talents, and treasures?

In Acts, the church in Antioch became a church-planting catalyst. It sat a cross-roads of commerce and culture. Prayerfully they trusted the Lord with the gospel and the Lord's leading, sending Paul and Barnabas out as missionaries (Acts 13:1-3).

Rome International sits at a similar crossroads and carries as much potential as Antioch. What if the following kingdom-expansion reality were to come from our convictional and community leadership?:

  • A Center for pastoral training and residencies, along with internships and mission teams? We could be a Catalyst for church planting both English & Italian churches in Rome (and beyond).

Would you pray with me for the Lord's will in this exciting possibility? Join me as we cover this city with prayer and trust the Lord to build his church.

Together for His Church,

Loren
