MEET THE STAFF
Lead PastorlOREN HOLLAND
Loren was raised on the mission field, where he came to faith and was discipled in an international church. The Lord used his experience to give him a vision to see churches planted at the crossroads of cultures so that both nationals and internationals could meet Jesus Christ. He is passionate about handling the Word rightly and teaching others to do the same. He holds a BSBM from Thomas Edison State University, an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and an MTh. from Union School of Theology. Loren and his wife, Alaina, are passionate about seeing transient people find lasting purpose in Jesus Christ. They themselves are internationals with over 30 years of experience living overseas. They have four amazing kids. As a family, they are very excited to serve internationals living in Rome.
BRYAN SILVER
Bryan and his family came to Rome in February of 2026, clear that God was calling them to set down their life in the U.S. to serve Rome International Church and the surrounding community. Bryan has spent the last 20 years wearing several “pastoral hats” as an ordained pastor, a U.S. licensed marriage and family therapist, and an executive coach and consultant to pastors, churches, business leaders, and corporations.
Bryan loves being a husband and a dad of four, is a major foodie, and is a recovering control freak who is learning that surrender to God is the wildest and most exciting ride in existence. His life mission is to meet people where they are, walk with them on their journey, and challenge them to take one step closer to Jesus.
Associate PastorRocio was born in the Andes region of Venezuela [Merida] and moved to Italy 5 years ago. She enjoys hiking beautiful trails with her daughter. God used the people of Rome International Church to lead Rocio to know and follow her Lord Jesus Christ, so she is thankful to get to serve and care for her RIC family in this way. She is passionate about helping international people as she has lived as an expat for most of her life.
