The Gospel

This is where we begin. The Good News. We have broken God’s holy law, offending the eternal, righteous, living God, therefore, we deserve eternal punishment. But, God has extended grace to us by paying for our offense by sending his son Jesus to die the death we deserved. Now, all those who have trusted in Jesus as their only savior and submit to him as the ruler of their lives, enjoy hope for today and all eternity.

Greg Gilbert has written a short book explaining the Gospel and how we see it uniting the story of the Bible. It can be found here.

Occasionally, we will organize a study group to go through this content. Contact us if interested.

Bible Reading Plan

Being devoted to the reading of Scripture is one of our core values. Would you join us as we read through the Word of God together on a daily basis? Then find another person who will commit to reading the Word with you. Make time to pray and talk about it together.

This reading plan can also be found at www.esv.org, titled Digging Deep in the Bible.

You can complete the entire Bible in a year or choose to read only the New Testament. The messages at RIC often refer to the readings. If you’re following along, you will be prepared to hear a message on Sunday that pertains to the readings. This lays a firm foundation for building the community and centers us on God’s Word.

You can download the Reading Plan and follow along with us HERE.

The Gospel Coalition

Where do you go to find answers when Christianity intersects with every day questions? The Gospel Coalition “seeks to help people know God’s Word with their minds, love God fully with their hearts, and engage the world with grace and truth.”
