Holy Week

My reflections on the glory and grace of God in the sacrifice of his Son Jesus are nothing compared to the story itself. Recorded for us, today, are the first hand accounts of those who were there when Jesus lives, died, and rose again. Would you walk with me through Holy Week with this reading plan from the ESV?

Day 1
- John 19:16-18; 28-30

Day 2 - The Bible describes the problem of sin and the penalty required throughout.
- Gen 3:23; 6:17; Exodus 12:21; Isaiah 5:13; John 2:19

Day 3 - Jesus' death is the good news of God's rescue.
- John 19:30

Day 4 - Jesus' resurrection is a wonderful surprise!
- John 20:1-8; 19-20; 24-29

Day 5 - The necessity of Easter.
- John 20:24-30

Day 6 - God's glory in the triumph of the resurrection.
- Gen 12:1-3; 2 Sam 7:12; 2 Chron. 6:2; Jeremiah 29:14; John 2:19

Praise God for our great hope in Jesus that unites us and defines us as the people of God. What a great salvation we have received. May you worship him with great joy this Easter.
