Explore the people, places, and ideas that shaped church history.

Reformation Tour in Rome

Discover Rome from a different perspective with a guided walking tour led by Alaina, exploring the city’s connections to the Protestant Reformation.

The Reformation was a movement in the 1500s that raised questions about faith, Scripture, and church authority, leading to the development of Protestant churches. Through Rome’s streets, historic sites, and artwork, this tour brings that history to life.

Starting at Scala Santa, you’ll explore places connected to Martin Luther and discover how art became part of the Catholic response to the Reformation. There is also an optional visit to the prison of Paul and Peter—ideal for those who haven’t visited before.

You don’t need any previous knowledge of church history. Whether you’re visiting Rome or have lived here for years, the tour offers an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and explore together.
