Works of Faith
Dear Church,
There is no end to opportunities in Rome to share the gospel. The apostle Paul tells us that the Word of God is not bound (2 Timothy 2:5). Therefore, if the church is committed to knowing and spreading the Word of God concerning the good news of Jesus Christ, its reach, and its growth is boundless.
Last Sunday, I concluded our text with a list of "works of faith" that we, as a church, might endeavor to accomplish through the power of God. That RIC would be a beacon of a Christ-loving community where the wandering, broken sinners find a home in Jesus Christ.
Through whatever means possible, we will transmit the gospel to our neighbors.
Translation of services on Sunday.
Begin an after-school English program for local children.
Form community groups throughout the city that encourage and build one another up in the Word, in prayer, and worship of God during the week.
To trust the Lord for new elders.
To ask the Lord for a larger space to meet where all these things and more can happen.
Would you pray for these things?
Trusting the Lord with you,
Loren
